LONDON. — Diego Costa has insisted he will decide on his future — and it may not be in China.

Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian have made an astonishing £75m offer to Chelsea for Costa with a contract worth £650 000-a-week after tax.

They are confident of landing the Chelsea striker whose goal in the win over Middlesbrough on Monday night took him to 20 English Premier League goals for the season.

But Costa told South American TV channel DIRECTVSports that he is in charge of his own destiny, will not be sold to a club he does not want to join and has hinted he could stay in Europe.Costa said: “I am the owner of my future and it does not mean that I am going to China.” — The Mirror.
