THE big boys are back.

This was the bold declaration made by Willom Tight in a recent interview following his reunion with Dino Mudondo.

The reunion, which comes 17 years after their split, has been embraced by many fans.

Although there were genuine fears they might struggle to gain the lost pace during their years in the wilderness, their handler Boss Kuno Mawire has been busy to ensure that he keeps the duo busy.

Willom, who is now a grandfather, said:

“The big boys are back and we are not only doing the talking but serious business.

“We have been recording a couple of songs with beautiful visuals such as Jambwa, Love Yangu Newe off the forthcoming album due for release soon.

“We mean business this time around and we can’t afford to behave as teenagers.

“We need to lead by example.”

Similar sentiments were echoed by Dino.

“To be frank, we made our mistakes but now people should simply embrace us as artists.

“The important thing is that people have really forgiven us and the ball is now in our court.

“The band is now intact and new songs are already in place.

“We have a new manager, who is also a songwriter, which makes our job easier.”

He added:

“I was accused of so many things, which almost derailed my progress but that is the past.

“I urge people to look into the future.”

Boss Kuno believes the duo needs a second chance.

“We can’t continue dwelling in the past because we all make mistakes at some point.

“Mistakes are part of life but we don’t expect people to repeat them.

“The pair still has plenty to offer and we can’t afford to let this talent go down the drain.”
