Director lifts lid off ‘One Direction’

With fewer clothes.

The “Super Size Me” director reveals there are “more shirtless moments than you can imagine”.
But he adds: “Now how many of those make it in to the final film, we’ll have to wait and see.”

The boys are following in Justin Bieber and JLS’s footsteps by chronicling their “Take Me Home” tour and trips to Europe and Japan with a 3D film.
Morgan says: “The lads have been both in front of and behind the camera.”

And he has been following Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne around in their personal lives, as well as on stage.
Sounds like it’s going to be a tearjerker, too.

He reveals: “There have been some really lovely emotional moments that we’ve captured. I think fans may shed a tear or two while watching.
“We spend a lot of down time with the band, with their families and friends. We really wanted you to see what their ‘normal’ lives are like.”

But fear not, there are fun moments, as well.
During a Twitter chat yesterday, he continued: “You can’t film 1D without capturing their wild side!

“And that fun attitude is infectious, it takes over the whole film crew. In my first meeting with them a food fight broke out with dinner rolls.”
Boys being boys, they’ve been torturing Morgan, who ate only McDonald’s for a month to explore the fast food industry for his film, “Super Size Me”.

“They love eating McD in front of me,” he admits.
But he says he got the last laugh when they were banned from scoffing junk, adding: “On the new tour they have a trainer keeping them off the Big Macs.”

And what else can we expect? Morgan explains: “I know a lot of fans love those flowing locks, so I may have to plan some special Hair-iel shots for the film.”
Leave the jokes to me, Spurlock.

“One Direction: This Is Us” is released on August 30. — Mirror.
