A MANAGING company director who shared a bed with his two female subordinates allegedly raped one of the subordinates while the other subordinate was watching.
The incident happened last week on Friday and was reported to the police. A source said the managing director (name withheld) of a company based in Harare arrived in Bulawayo with his two subordinates and went to a local lodge where they slept. The source said the man, the alleged 20-year-old victim, and another 24-year-old subordinate booked one room at a local lodge.
“He and his two subordinates slept on the same bed. He removed his shirt and his pair of trousers and remained with a boxer short while his subordinate did not undress. The victim slept in the middle,” said the source.
It is alleged that during the night he woke up and relieved himself and when he returned to the bed he allegedly carried out the attack.
“He found her in a deep sleep and sexually attacked her. The victim woke up to find him raping her and she tried to stop him but he continued while the other woman was watching,” said the source.
After that, they slept. On the following day, the victim shared the nasty experience she suffered at the hands of her boss with her relative and she was advised to report the incident to the police. Later on the same day, her boss was arrested. Police investigations are still underway.
