Disney Cocktails

I recently began following a blog on cocktail recipes called My Bartender and I came across an interesting set of drinks all inspired by Disney.

As we welcome 2024, why not do so by stepping into a world of magic with enchanting cocktails inspired by Disney, where beloved characters and iconic movies inspire a whimsical twist on classic drinks?

Whether you are a devoted Disney enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates a good cocktail, these recipes offer a playful and creative way to infuse a touch of magic into your drinking experience.

The colorful and imaginative concoctions cater to a wide range of tastes, from those who enjoy fruity and fun libations to those who prefer elegant and sophisticated sips.

These cocktails are perfect for themed parties, gatherings, or simply adding a dash of fantasy to your drink catalogue.

These Disney cocktails will surely bring a smile to the face of anyone looking to infuse a bit of enchantment into their glass.

First off is the Hakuna Matata cocktail inspired by The Lion King.

If you are a fan of The Lion King, you will enjoy this one, it’s a boozy blend of tropical flavours.

This colourful cocktail gets its bright red and orange hue from grenadine and pineapple juice. The bulk of the drink consists of sweet alcohols, including spiced rum, coconut rum, and banana liqueur.

Then comes the Mickey Mouse cocktail. At first glance, the Mickey Mouse cocktail looks like a milkshake, but don’t be fooled, this sugary treat has a grown-up twist.

In addition to ice cream and Oreos, the Mickey Mouse cocktail has a generous serving of vodka, as well as some white chocolate liqueur. Don’t forget to leave two Oreos aside to form the signature Mickey ears.

Then we have the PINK Sleeping Beauty-inspired cocktail. Everyone loves a pink drink, and it doesn’t get pinker than this Princess Aurora cocktail.

Inspired by the pink version of Aurora’s dress this vodka-based cocktail uses several ingredients to get a gorgeous pink color, including raspberry liqueur and pink food dye.

The recipe also calls for edible glitter, reminiscent of the three fairies.

Then comes one of my favourite characters Yoda, we have all shared a meme of Yoda and Baby Yoda and this is quite fun.

This is a recipe from a galaxy far, far away. This Baby Yoda cocktail is adorable and would be a great surprise for the next time your friends visit. The recipe gives you instructions on how to turn your drink into a Baby Yoda using brown paper, blueberries, and lime slices.

What would this Disney-inspired catalogue be without one of the favourites Elsa from Frozen?

Whether it’s the holidays or a regular chilly evening, you can add some magic to your winter with Elsa’s Frozen Cocktail.

The recipe is essentially a Long Island Iced Tea that’s turned electric blue due to the inclusion of blue curacao.

This boozy beverage isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you feel like you need to let it go one night, this is a great drink to have on hand.

I will cut the compilation here for this week and continue with it next week.

So let’s spice this year up with these few cocktails I have shared.

Till next week, have a blissful and tipsy weekend.
