The Highlanders and Dynamos premiership fixture has forced the organisers of the John Landa Nkomo Liquor Hub Super 8 tournament to move kick-off time of a quarter final match on Sunday.
Bulawayo Chiefs and ZRP Bulawayo Province meet in a local derby of the tournament named after the late Vice President John Landa Nkomo at White City Stadium on Sunday.
The tourney is sponsored by businessman Raj Modi to the tune of $5 000.
Across town at Barbourfields Stadium perennial foes Highlanders and Dynamos clash in a highly anticipated Premier Soccer League fixture expected to draw huge crowds from both teams.
Zifa Southern Region administrator Augustine Ndlovu said in as much as the second tier league had its own followers, it would be folly to try and compete with the big game at Barbourfields Stadium.
a�?We cannot ignore the fact that there will be a big match at Barbourfields Stadium so in the best interest of our teams playing in Bulawayo we saw it fit to move the kick-off time,a�� said Ndlovu.
In the other quarter final match of the tournament AmagagasiA� welcome ZPC Hwange in the resort town on Saturday. The usual kick-off time of 3pm stands.
Entry in both stadiums is pegged at $1.
Winners of the tourney will walk away with $1 500 while the losing finalists take home $800.
Losing semi finalists are guaranteed $400 each with all the teams that fail to make it past the quarter final stages pocketing $200 each.

Sunday: Bulawayo Chiefs vs ZRP Bulawayo Province (White City Stadium)
