adminHip-HOP DJ and producer C-Live, real name Clive Shabalala, has been involved in a fire incident at his home in which his child died. The DJ, father to 11-year-old Nadiff (who unfortunately perished in the blaze) and six-year-old Funeka, is currently in a serious condition at a Johannesburg East Hospital. The DJ’s mother Virginia Shabalala confirmed that the Club 808 producer is currently undergoing treatment in their hi-care facility.
The DJ’s friends and well known media personalities have taken to Twitter to express their condolences and offer prayers for Shabalala and his family.

“You’re in my thoughts & prayers,” wrote Bonang Matheba.
“My sincere condolences to C-Live and his family! I pray that God be with u, protect u and bring u back to your family, friends & supporters,” said R&B singer Vusi Nova.
