DJ Khaled recruits Nas, Kanye for new project

album and XXLMag.com has the details from the man himself on who fans can expect to hear on the disc, which will be his first for Cash Money records.
Titled “We the Best Forever”, the LP, according to Khaled, will of course feature appearances from the usual suspects (Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Ace Hood, Jadakiss, Birdman and Fat Joe), along with a long list of surprises.
Khaled revealed that Nas – who appeared on 2008’s I’m On – Kanye West (who appeared on both Khaled’s Grammy Family in 2006 and Go Hard in 2008), Cee-Lo Green, Drake, and Waka Flocka Flame will all make cameos.
He also mentioned a possible song with Nicki Minaj.
Possibly the biggest shockers come in the form of the R&B contributors, though. “I got some people I haven’t worked with, like Chris Brown on my album, Keyshia Cole, (and) Mary J. Blige.”
Asked if the crooners will alter his signature sound, he replied: “My Chris Brown record is – it’s called ‘Legendary.’ It ain’t R&B, that is hard but everybody can relate to it.”
In typical Khaled fashion, the Terror Squad rep teased the importance of the album. “My album is the most amazing thing ever,” he said.
“It’s the biggest album coming out. The record’s on there are straight hits. “
We the Best Forever is set to come out on June 28. – XXL.marg
