The DJ has been looking for a venue to stage shows for sometime.
Sintertainment director Sindiso Moyo introduced DJ Mphoe to influential businessman Allan Barons who is also a director of a number of local clubs.
Barons confirmed the move and described it as part of moves to improve quality of entertainment at the bar.
In an interview, DJ Mphoe said he was grateful for the opportunity of a lifetime and would utilise it to the full.
“I am grateful for such a golden opportunity and this will help me broaden my horizons. I have been looking for such a venue where I could showcase my talents.
“The aim is to provide quality entertainment so that patrons have value for their money,” said the DJ.
Mphoe also said he had always sought for a spacious venue for his entertainment company, Rhythm Unplugged, so that it expands.
The crowd pulling DJ hailed Sintertainment director Moyo for linking him to influential figures in the corporate world.
“I want to thank Moyo for his unwavering faith in me which saw him going out of his way to link me to some of the most influential figures in the corporate world,” he said.
The DJ also said he was geared to meet with the demands of music followers. He also said this was an opportune time for local DJs to showcase what they had to offer.
“People are in for a treat and every weekend would be different.
“This is also an opportunity for local DJs to come forth and showcase what they have to offer,” he said.
The DJ also said he enjoyed support from fellow DJs who included DJ Licious Deep, King LC, Slomo, Dean Bird, Kay Cee and Nigel.
The DJ also said this year’s Independence would be celebrated in style at Kudu Bar which is throwing a launch party on Friday.
