DJ STAVO PENS EMOTIONAL LETTER

OUTSPOKEN wheel-spinner and music producer, Steven “DJ Stavo” Sanders, has penned an open letter to Zimbabwean musicians.

He also gave advice to upcoming musicians to avoid making unnecessary noise and make music.

“Never compare ourselves to any other country’s success in the music industry because what you support is what you deserve.

“Let’s face it, we would rather support untalented, loud and full of drama individuals that have a lot of scandals rather than pure professional successful talent,” he said.

DJ Stavo said he now has a clear picture why most successful Zimbabwean artists are shunning their roots.

“I now understand why most successful artists outside Zimbabwe do not associate themselves with Zimbabwe.

“It’s sad to see when they start to give back, their career starts to deteriorate,” he said.
