Popular wheel-spinner DJ Stavo’s new video “Ngimtholile” is making waves, attracting thousands of viewers on social media platforms. The video that was released on Saturday features South Africa top acts Trademark of the “Shumaya” fame and Muungu Africa who are popular for the song “Oteng” featuring Dr Malinga.Scenic views of the place believed to be Lesedi Cultural village just outside Johannesburg, South Africa bring refreshing scenes in the video.

Stavo said he decided to come up with a different video that brings new dimension to his career.

The DJ who once worked with superstar Oliver Mtukudzi said it was good that people were appreciating the works.

“The video is gaining ground, getting thousands of viewers on different social media platforms. It encourages because as artists we work to please our market,” he said.

He is working to have the video played on several channels.

“I did the online release and now things are taking shape and we are engaging several TV channels to have it played. If all goes well it will be aired on some popular channels,” he added.

The DJ’s decision to have a different video from his previous works is paying off.

“I decided to do something different from my other videos and people are loving it. I wish to develop as an artist through having works that are appreciated by people like this video,” he said.

DJ Stavo has released other videos like “Ingoma” featuring Shota, “Teka Famba” featuring Fista Black and “Mnandi” featuring Mandoza.

His song “Mwedzi Muchena” that featured Mtukudzi is doing well on the local charts.

“The response to the track is something else. Dr Mtukudzi’s touch on the songs makes it outstanding. As a DJ I wish to work with every artist in the country,” he said.
