DJ ZINHLE joined Jacaranda FM’s Complimentary Breakfast on Tuesday morning to talk about love, heartbreak and Kairo.
When asked if she was happier after her break up with AKA, she said: “The guy gave me a beautiful child. That is happier.”
After bursting out in a fit of laughter she said she had been on a journey of self discovery.
“All break-ups do that for you. You start cutting your hair, riding bikes. I’m definitely stable and happy. The body heals, the soul heals and your heart heals,” she said. At the end of the interview she had some special words for her baby, Kairo.
“Nothing lasts forever. Everything passes. Maybe it just comes with age but you understand that things change. Everything is as it should be. You are equipped to deal with whatever it is at the time. You have it in you. She is enough for herself.”
Holding back her tears, she said she learned to love herself very late in life but she wanted Kairo to understand that she needed to love herself completely before loving someone else.
This comes after a war of words erupted between DJ Zinhle and AKA at the end of last month after he started ranting against her.
She waited for a few hours to cool down before replying: “When everyone is ready to be an adult, you know where the baby and I are. Oskido, Pearl and Euphonik all begged me not to respond. I apologise but you brought my mom into it.
“EsiZulwini, if you have a problem with the mother of your child, you arrange a meeting and speak to her family, not Twitter!
“We have a child together and that’s who we are accountable to. Every time there’s a beef you are the common denominator.” – The Juice
