DJ Zinhle to launch mom blog

Expectant mother DJ Zinhle took to social media to announce that she will be launching a mom blog on Friday. Zinhle, who is expecting her first baby with rapper AKA, reveals that she will diarise all the experiences she has gone through as a first-time mom in the new blog called MOMentsbyDJZinhle.

“I’ve been going through an amazing experience and such experiences are meant to be shared. On Friday, I will open up my world and let you in on some of my most precious MOMents,” Zinhle writes.

Radio/television personality Unathi Msengana took to Instagram to congratulate Zinhle on her new venture and welcomed her to the mommy club.

In one of the first posts to be published, Zinhle diarises how she broke the news to boyfriend AKA that he was going to be a daddy.

“I’d to tell my boyfriend who was out of the country at the time. I couldn’t wait till he got back, so I took a picture of the stick and sent it to him. He, as many men would, responded with, ‘What does this mean?’. After announcing that our lives were going to change forever, with the simple words, ‘It means we’re pregnant’, he lovingly asked me if I was scared. I responded, ‘Yes, but I’m also happy, you?’” Zinhle writes.

“He responded, ‘I’m scared too. I love you and I wouldn’t do this with anybody else but you. I still would have preferred if you told me face to face’. After that night, we were thrown into the deepest end of the change pool and we’ve had to plunge into it, move with it and join the dance.”- Sowetan.
