Berlin – Novak Djokovic slightly increased his lead over US Open champion Rafael Nadal in the latest men’s tennis ranking released yesterday by the ATP. Djokovic tops the bill with 11 120 points while Nadal remains second with an unchanged 10 860, followed by Andy Murray with 7 075 points.
Roger Federer swapped places with Tomas Berdych, moving up to fifth on 4 515 and pushing Berdych to sixth with 4 460.
Meanwhile, Serena Williams remained first in an unchanged top 10 of the women’s tennis rankings issued yesterday by the WTA.
The French Open and US Open champion Williams leads far ahead of the pack with 12 260 points. She is followed by Victoria Azarenka with 9 505 points and Maria Sharapova who has 7 866 points.
