By demand the popular “DJs Party” is back this year at the Harare International Festival o f Arts (Hifa). The party will feature South Africa’s hottest DJs, Crazy White Boy and DJ Milkshake on May 3 at the Telecel Main Stage.
The duo called Crazy White Boy, the brainchild of “house” producers, Ryan Murgatroyd and Kosta Karatamoglou.
Their latest single “Love you Better” is the fastest growing record in 5fm Top 40 history.
It has also been picked up by One Love for Australia and Kontor for the World.
The duo’s labels include Ministry of Sound, Cr2, Toolroom and South African power house Soul Candi.
The two producers’ songs are on “Multiple Gold” and “Platinum” which are selling compilation albums featuring their tracks have cemented the duo’s status as hit-making producers.
On another side, the Soweto-born DJ Milkshake has become a household name on Johannesburg’’s entertainment scene.
He is one of the most versatile and multicultural DJs in South Africa today and is riding a wave of stardom as host of his own 5FM show.
Although his specialty is hip hop and R’n’B, he is known to spice it up by taking great tunes from music across all genres, making him popular with music lovers and party animals from all walks of life.
One of his popular songs is called “Living the edge” which features George Avakian.
