DO-OR-DIE GAME FOR ZIM HOCKEY TEAM

ZIMBABWE’S Under-21 women’s field hockey face a do-or-die showdown in their battle to keep their World Cup dreams alive.

Zimbabwe take on Kenya today in a decisive match which they need to win to qualify for the FIH Junior World Cup scheduled for Santiago, Chile, in December.

Zimbabwe,  Kenya, South Africa and hosts Egypt are taking part in the Junior Africa Cup featuring both men and women’s teams in Ismailia, Egypt.

And the Zimbabweans started their campaign with a 3-0 defeat to South Africa on Sunday before bouncing back with a 4-0 win over hosts Egypt on Monday.
