TOP comedians — Doc Vikela and Bhutisi —have combined forces for a countrywide tour.

Dubbed “Comedy Junta”, the two kings of laughter have assured fans, dotted around Zimbabwe, some refreshing jokes.

The first leg of the tour begins on March 30 in Triangle.

In an interview with H-Metro, Doc Vikela outlined their vision.

“As the two main men in stand-up comedy in Zimbabwe, we have decided to come up with this initiative as we tour the country.

“We want to interact with youngsters and demonstrate how it should be done.

“We have realised that Zimbabweans need fun and this is the best way we can meet and interact.

“Preparations are well on course and we are ready to go on a countrywide tour after launching it in Triangle,” he said.

After the Lowveld launch, the duo returns to Harare for a show at the Rainbow Towers on April 6.

The roadshow will then head to Mutare where they are billed to hold another double at the Courtauld Theatre on April 13.

On Independence Day,  they are set to hold another show at Cotton Lounge.

More shows have been lined-up in Victoria Falls, Gweru and Norton.
