Doctor cleared of sexually abusing female client

Ivitro Fertilisation Zimbabwe owner, doctor Tinovimba Mhlanga was today acquitted on charges of sexually abusing a woman who had visited his clinic to donate a fertilisation egg to a certain couple sometime in March this year.

Dr Mhlanga was acquitted by Harare regional magistrate Mrs Gloria Takundwa after a full trial. He was charged with aggravated indecent assault.

Dr Mhlanga, who was represented by lawyer Mr Oliver Marwa, had denied the charges saying the woman, Tinotenda Zowa, wanted to soil his professional reputation.

Mrs Cecilia Mashingaidze appeared for the State.
