National Blood Transfusion Services of Zimbabwe World Blood donation commemorations held at the school.
Nagle House donated 216 units of blood out of the 600 units that were donated by schools in Mashonaland East between June 2012 and March 2013.
This is the second time that the school has won this prestigious provincial award.
NetOne has been supporting the National Blood Transfusion Services of Zimbabwe blood donation programme though its prepaid brand, EasyCall, since 2006.
All the Form One students at the school also received EasyCall lines with US$5 airtime.
NetOne’s public relations manager Mr Rutendo Chabururuka said that the prizes were in the form of communication devices as part of their commitment to e-learning in schools.
“Our total sponsorship package was above US$40 000 in terms of what we invested in terms of these awards,” he said
Public affairs manager for NBSZ Miss Esther Massundah said they were grateful to corporates such as NetOne that have come to their assistance in cash and kind.
To this end she said that they managed to get US$76 763,74 in cash and kind during special fund-raising activities last year.
“Cash after expenses amounted to over US$61 763,74. Sponsorship in kind for the fund-raising activities was to the tune of US$15 000,” she said.
Other winning schools from other provinces are Sakubva High 2 (Mutare), Premier College (Bulawayo), Presbyterian (Mhondoro), Chisipite Girls High School (Harare), Mutendi High (Masvingo), John Tallach High School (Matabeleland North province), Thekwani High School (Matabeleland South) and Progress College (Midlands).
