‘Don’t vandalise new clinic’

Paul Pindani in CHINHOYI

CHINHOYI Municipality director of health Dr William Mayabo has urged residents not to vandalise facilities at a new clinic opened in Ward 4.

He said Hunyani Clinic would specifically serve the elderly community in Ward 4 who will no longer travel a long distance to Chinhoyi Clinic.

Hunyani is a satellite of Chinhoyi Clinic.

“The reason Council opened this clinic is because we considered that there are a lot of elderly people who stay in Hunyani.

“We saw it fit to bring a health facility to their vicinity.

“We have erected a security fence at Hunyani Clinic to secure it from vandalism.

“We are also going to fence other clinics like Shackleton.”

He said Hunyani Clinic would also help them increase Covid-19 and measles vaccinations.
