Douglas Chimbetu calls for unity

said it was high time the Chimbetus united towards one common goal.
“There is no breach among us and nothing can stop us from keeping the torch that our forebearers (Simon and Naison ) kindled. Dendera music has reached a level whereby songs are just as good as church hymns, no one can lay claim to them,” said Douglas.

Douglas urged his kin to respect one another saying respect was the bedrock of success.
“We are hopeful of releasing a joint album to prove armchair critics wrong,” he said.

Douglas is currently enjoying a purple patch with his album “Tsimba” that carries tracks like “Saunyama”, “Vahosi”, “Rufu” and the title track.
His manager, Allen Mutumba, said he envisioned a bright future for the young musician.
