Downs’ Malajila boost

There was both good and bad news on the injury front for Mamelodi Sundowns in their fight for Absa Premiership title, where they are on second position.

According to a report on the club’s official website, top goal-scorer Cuthbert Malajila (pictured) has recovered in time from a hamstring injury and will be fit to play if selected by coach Pitso Mosimane, a significant boost to their attacking options.

And they have good news at the back too where central defender and skipper Alje Schut will be able to take his place in the side after he picked up a knock in the 2-0 win over Free State Stars at the weekend. Mosimane will have to do without five first team regulars though as he plots a way past The Buccaneers. — Supersport.
