DPM Thokozani Khupe in US$500k pregnancy suit

The DPM is not married.

She dismissed the insinuations as “wrongful” and “defamatory” and put her in bad light.

DPM Khupe, through her lawyers Mbidzo, Muchadehama and Makoni, issued the summons at the High Court under case number HC8323/10.

The papers were filed last Wednesday morning.

She cited reporter Nqaba Matshazi, the editor, Munn Marketing and Art Corporation as defendants.

According to the court papers, DPM Khupe says the article, headlined “DPM Khupe dispels pregnancy rumours”, was defamatory.

There was a picture of the DPM captioned “Growing Big . . .”
