HE is a farmer, dreamer and now an author.

Dr Joseph Kakoto is ploughing new ground beyond the fields with the launch of his novel, ‘Believe, Achieve, Thrive: The Science of Success’, which is set to hit the book shelves on June 12.

Dr Kakoto revealed how his journey from farmlands to become a motivational powerhouse has been years in the making.

“Farming puts food on the table but writing feeds my soul. I’ve always wanted to tell my story, but survival came first so I had to prioritise farming to sustain my livelihood,” he said in an interview.

Despite the long days in the field and the demands of agriculture, Dr Kakoto never let go of his creative side.

He credits farming not only for shaping his discipline but also for financing his artistic pursuits.

“My success in the literary world is proof that passion and purpose can co-exist. I might not be a full-time artist, but my stories are just as powerful.”

This is not his first literary rodeo.

Dr Kakoto released his debut book in 2015 but this latest project promises to make waves.

Drawing on his own life experiences, ‘Believe, Achieve, Thrive’ is not just another self-help book; it is a raw and relatable tale of struggle, determination and personal growth.

He delves into the workings of the human mind, using concepts like the analytical mind, reactive mind, and engram banks to explain how people can rise above their challenges.

“This book blends my life’s triumphs and setbacks with science-backed insights. It’s my way of showing that anyone can succeed, no matter their starting point,” he said.

Dr Kakoto said he hopes to inspire readers from all walks of life whether they are sowing seeds in the ground or pursuing their dreams in various fields.
