The event, which will take place in Harare, is expected to attract top women leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across Zimbabwe and the Sub-Saharan African region.

Running under the theme “Women Ascend: Leading Change and Inspiring Growth Across Sectors,” the summit aims to provide a powerful platform for dialogue, inspiration and action around women’s leadership.

Dr Frankel, widely known for her best-selling book Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office, is regarded as a global authority on women’s leadership development.

Through her work with Fortune 500 companies, she has empowered thousands of women to challenge systemic barriers, lead with confidence and transform organisational cultures.

In a statement, the summit organisers, Vase Konnect, said Dr Frankel’s participation brings immense value to the gathering. “We are honoured to welcome Dr Frankel to Zimbabwe,” read the statement.

“Her presence will bring unmatched value to the summit, offering both inspiration and practical strategies for women ready to drive change.”

The event will also feature a lineup of influential regional voices, including Dr Divine Ndlukula, Varaidzo Zifudzi, Silibaziso Chizwina, Tendaiishe Chitima, Chipo Ndudzo and Lilian Mbayiwa.

These leaders bring experience from diverse sectors, including business, technology, media, gender advocacy, corporate governance and social development.

Attendants can expect an engaging programme that includes a masterclass led by Dr Frankel, keynote presentations, panel discussions addressing current leadership challenges and structured networking sessions aimed at building regional alliances.

According to the organisers, the summit seeks to address not only formal sector leadership gaps but also those in the informal economy, where many African women are active and influential.
