PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has declared the late veteran medical practitioner Dr Barbatus Msimanga a Liberation Hero.
Dr Msimanga passed away last Friday and will be buried at Lady Stanely on Tuesday.
“His Excellency the President and First Secretary of Zanu PF Cde ED Mnangagwa has conferred a Liberation Hero status to the late Dr Barbatus Msimanga,” announced Zanu PF Secretary General Advocate Jacob Mudenda.
Dr Msimanga was 83.
He is survived by his wife, Goodness, three children and several grandchildren.
