Draft, national report for stakeholders’ conference

“We will go to the All Stakeholders’ Conference with our amendments.”

Zanu-PF, Cde Gumbo said, was committed to seeing the Constitution-making process succeeding.
Cde Gumbo said if there was to be a deadlock, it would only be declared after the stakeholders’ conference.

He reiterated that it was premature for MDC-T to launch a yes vote campaign for the Constitution when parties were still to agree on the draft.

The Copac draft is now with the principals who are seized with discussing amendments.
Zanu-PF came up with amendments after auditing the draft against the national report, which amendments were distributed to all principals.

The MDC formations have since endorsed the draft with MDC-T laun-ching a “Yes Vote” campaign recently.
