THERE was drama at the Harare Civil Court yesterday after a garnish application was granted.

Hillary Gwanda harassed and insulted his former wife, Bianca Thompson, after magistrate Ayanda Dhlamini ruled in favour of her application.

During the hearing, Bianca said:

“Your Worship, he does not pay maintenance on time.

“As we speak, he has not deposited the money for the past three months.”

Hillary did not oppose the application, but claimed he was unemployed and could no longer afford to pay maintenance on time.

“I have been paying the money on time, but it’s just that the company is now closed.

“At least, she should understand me.

“I am expecting some money soon and when I receive it, I will give her some,” he said.

However, Bianca did not buy Gwanda’s excuse

“He is lying that he is not working.

“Last week, I even went to his workplace so that his boss could stamp the papers so that he attends court, but he was not in his office.

“I see their company cars every day. “
