Draw sends hooligans into frenzy

Senior Sports Reporter
DYNAMOS hooligans yesterday went on a rampage by uprooting the Mpilo End goalpost following their team’s uninspiring 1-1 stalemate against a tactically superior Tsholotsho at Barbourfields Stadium yesterday.

Soon after referee Allen Basvi blew the whistle for fulltime, a group of Dynamos fans started throwing missiles onto the pitch, while some stormed the field.

A Supersport cameraman had to run for cover as the unruly elements charged towards him as he dismantled his equipment.

The police surprisingly did nothing to stop the hooligans and watched as the fans ripped the nets to shreds. Unsatisfied with shredding the nets, the hooligans then uprooted the goalposts.
