Drum majorette association for world competition

A LOCAL drum majorette association is set to compete in a global competition in Croatia.

Zimbabwe Brilliant Girls Association will join other nations to compete for the World Championship Sport in August.

Association representative, Violet Sadzi, told H-Metro preparations were at an advanced stage and they were appealing for help.

“The girls are ready and all the documentation has been finalised,” said Violet.

“Since it’s our first time to reach such an international stage, we are appealing for sponsorship so that we do not feel exposed.

“We want to fly the national flag high.

“The girls need enough support for them to look nice.

“If some corporates and captains of industry help us, especially on air tickets and sanitary wear, we will be very happy,” she said.
