Drunkard found dead

POLICE in Rusape are investigating the death of Verrison Dhliwayo (71) whose body was found floating in a stream last week.
Deputy Manicaland provincial police spokesman Assistant Inspector Luxson Chananda said they were digging deep into the matter.
Dhliwayo was last seen on June 20 when he went to Nyamayi Village under Headman Makama to drink home-brewed beer.
“He failed to return home and his body was found by Dickson Simende the following day floating in Mutorahuku Stream.

“Simende told Tafadzwa Chikono, a member of the Neighbourhood  Watch  Committee,  after which a report was made to the police,” Asst Insp Chananda said.
