the dry spell, which began on January 23 is expected to end on February 4.
Isolated thundershowers are expected across Zimbabwe starting today (Friday).
“This is in line with the norm, that the country experiences its mid summer season dry spell round about this time of the season.
“This should then pave way for the second half of the 2012-2013 rainfall season that usually begins from end of January.”
Mr Zinyemba said Mashonaland provinces and Harare would start from next week on Saturday to experience an increase in rainfall activities with sporadic thundershowers expected in other areas.
