MOVIE lovers are in for a great treat next month as DStv will be screening more than 50 films by undoubtedly one of the greatest film-makers in the world, Steven Spielberg.
Spielberg, an American film director, screenwriter, and producer is a proud maker of a number of award winning movies in his career spanning more than four decades.
The movies will be shown on M-Net Movies Showcase Channel 108.
MultiChoice Zimbabwe marketing and publicity manager Liz Dziva said the films would include Spielberg’s early works from 1977 to date.

She said there would be at least one movie directed or produced by Spielberg during prime time on most days of the month.
Dziva said apart from the Spielberg movies, the channel would also screen two critically acclaimed mini-series, The Band of Brothers and The Pacific.
M-Net first ran a movie festival on Spielberg in the late 90s and it captured the imagination of viewers.

“The forthcoming festival will be a much bigger and comprehensive update of his massive collection of films,” she said.
Some of the movies that will be screened during the period include Men In Black 1, 2 and 3, Always, Jurassic Park, The Lost World – Jurassic Park and The Colour Purple.
