“We have players, officials and fans that require funeral policies and we urge Nyaradzo to formulate exciting products for our family of football,” Dube said.
The Zifa president also thanked the instructor from Germany, Eric Routemoller.
Dube said German football was a yardstick for excellence in international football and he believes Routemoller’ experience and expertise will refuel the local game.
“We implore Routemoller to come back in the near future to interact with coaches of our clubs and national teams. We value your knowledge of football and cannot wait to see the coaches implement some of your tactics and technique,” said Dube.
The Zifa president also paid tribute to the participants for their interest in developing their careers.
He bemoaned the Warriors’ failure to qualify for the 2012 Nations Cup finals.
“Financial problems remain a cause for concern for Zifa and I have been forced to fork out from my own coffers but this has not been done without causing lots of controversy around my administration,” said Dube.
The Zifa boss said the Mighty Warriors were giving Zimbabwe football a glimmer of hope.
He praised Marange Resources for meeting all expenses of the Mighty Warriors during their assignment against Botswana.
But Sunday’s match against the Zebra Queens was the last Mighty Warriors’ game that the fans will watch for free.
The match against Nigeria, said Dube, will attract a token fee as an entry charge at the gates.
Nyaradzo Holdings chief executive, Philip Mataranyika, said the coaching clinics will be an annual event.
Mataranyika said they donated 30 soccer balls, training bibs, cones and provided transport and accommodation for all participants.
“We felt the urge to play a role in the development of football in Zimbabwe hence we decided to contribute towards the development of football across the country from the grassroots level,” Mataranyika said.
“We are of the view that with better skilled coaches and referees, we will have better skilled players who will win matches to sustain themselves.
“Also, as Nyaradzo Group, we value the concept of mentoring as the most fundamental aspect in the development and success of our local football.”
