Dube meets Caf boss Hayatou

The Caf boss and Dube spent almost two hours behind closed doors in Hayatou’s villa on Tuesday night.

When questioned about what he had discussed with Dube, Hayatou said: “When he came here we talked about the situation in Zimbabwe football, what is happening in the game especially relating to the match-fixing issue.
“And he says that, maybe Thursday (today), the report, that is the committee doing will release it to the nation of Zimbabwe, the Government and also to the federation.
“Maybe, after that, Caf will see the consistency of the report and we will decide how to assist.”
The Independent Ethics Committee, led by retired Supreme Court judge Justice Ebrahim is in the final phase of its investigations.
