GOSPEL music enthusiasts are in for a treat as the highly acclaimed South African Gospel sensation Dumi Mkokstad, is set to headline a concert at Harvest House International church in Bulawayo on 22 February 2025.

The Harvest House International

Mkokstad, a lead singer of the popular Gospel outfit, Spirit of Praise, will share the stage with local award-winning psalmist, Sipho Snowy Ncube, who will be hosting the event.

Dubbed Sizomkhonza, the concert promises to be an electrifying evening of praise and worship with Mkokstad — the Asikho Isikhali hit maker expected to showcase his exceptional skills and leave the audience in awe.

Snowy expressed his excitement at having Mkokstad perform at the event.

“Dumi Mkokstad’s performance at our recent concert left everyone begging for more. Such character and prowess he showed at the gig led us to organise this show where he will be the headlining act and have ample time to perform for his legion of fans,” he said.

The concert will feature some of Mkokstad’s hit songs, including iGetsemane, Mbize and his latest release Vumba Elimnandi.

Snowy vowed to deliver a memorable performance, stating that the concert would be a huge platform to showcase his talents and add value to his profile as an artiste.

For a long time, gospel fans have been speculating about a possible collaboration between Mkokstad and Snowy, which was sparked by Mkokstad’s praise for Snowy’s performance at the Spirit of Praise concert in November last year.

However, Snowy clarified that there have been no serious talks about a collaboration saying: “The focus for now is the upcoming concert, and I believe associating with one of Africa’s Gospel greats is a blessing in itself.”
Snowy added that the success of the concert would be a testament to the fact that anything is possible and fans should keep their fingers crossed. Other artistes scheduled to perform at the event will be announced soon.
