DYNAMOS broke a three year losing streak in the President’s Independence Cup after they edged Highlanders 1 nil at Vahera Stadium, Murambinda B High School, Manicaland Province on Thursday afternoon.

Donald Mudadi scored a volley in the second minute of the match to give DeMbare the win against Bosso in the Uhuru Cup.

Zimbabwe celebrated 44 years of Independence and the Main Celebrations were capped off by the football match between two of the country’s biggest and most supported teams, Bosso and Dembare.

This was the first time in history for the two football giants to clash in any competition in Manicaland Province.
