‘Dynamos’ form slumps’

match at Rufaro during Round 20. On Sunday, DeMbare edged Motor Action 1-0 in a league match at Rufaro despite the Mighty Bulls producing a better show on the day.
Rodrick Mutuma scored the priceless goal in the 37th minute after he got to the end of a cross from Denver Mukamba. Motor Action had the better exchanges, especially in the second half, but Dynamos somehow managed to fend off the attacks to claim the three points.

DeMbare were missing regular centreback Patson Jaure and defensive midfielder Devon Chafa, who were on suspension.
The Harare giants did not use newboy Simba Sithole, who languished on the bench, and Farai Mupasiri, who was injured.
A week earlier, Dynamos needed a penalty shoot-out to knock Quelaton from the Mbada Diamonds Cup after the match had ended 1-1 in regulation time.

In the run-up to the Cup match, DeMbare needed a late Ocean Mushure strike to give them maximum points against a battling Harare City during a mid-week match.
Tomorrow DeMbare face Chicken Inn at Barbourfields hoping to collect another set of three points and keep alive their title defence.
“We played out a one-nil against Harare City, which was not a so-good performance, according to our standards. In the next game, we drew against Quelaton and we saw our team going down but against Motor Action we got a positive result, no matter how it came.

“Obviously, our performance has gone down after drawing against Quelaton but getting a positive result against Motor Action is very crucial because it’s a morale-booster. Our performance had gone down against Quelaton but now we are going up again,” said Ndiraya.
