DYNAMOS made it four out of four with this convincing win over Chrome Stars in Kwekwe yesterday. In the run-up to the match, DeMbare beat Motor Action 2-1, Renaissance3-1 and Saturday’s 1-0 win over Chinhoyi Select. Coach Lloyd Mutasa preparations for their Caf Champions League and the forthcoming season are heading in the right direction.
“We are working on the available youngsters to gain confidence and so far so good. When the rest of the players return we will work on fusing the team together.
“It was a good experience against Chrome who are full of running and this is different from the zonal marking used in the Premier SoccerLeague.
“We are heading for the big teams, we play Blue Ribbon, CAPS United then Highlanders in successive weekends,” said Mutasa.
After a sluggish opening half the Harare giants returned a better side in the second as reflected by the scoreline.
In the 55th minute, Devon Chafa stepped up to beat Tendai Hove from the spot after a foul in the box. Six minutes later, Patrick Kumbula found himself unmarked to slice home making it 2-0. Barely had Milton Makopa spent 10 minutes on the field of play when he reduced himself to a spectator after being sent off by Thomas Kusosa for a crude and late challenge on a Chrome Stars midfielder. In the 68th minute Kumbula made it 3-0 after being set up by Farai Vimisai.
A minute before time, a moment of brilliance saw NicholasAlifandika score the fourth.
