Dynamos to be honoured

PREMIERSHIP champions Dynamos are set to be honoured this week for their record equalling feat of winning four consecutive league titles.

The Glamour Boys won the league from 2011-14 under the mentorship of Kallisto Pasuwa, a feat which was previously achieved by Highlanders from 1999-2002, albeit with different coaches.

Zifa communications officer Xolisani Gwesela last night confirmed the development. “Zifa will honour Dynamos with a plaque some time next (this) week for the success they have enjoyed as exemplified by the four consecutive league titles they won.

“The honour comes in the wake of a congratulatory message Dynamos got from FIFA through Zifa president Cuthbert Dube and is also in recognition of what they have done not only locally but in continental football,” said Gwesela.
