PATSON Dzamara and his fellow MDC-T activists have gone to the High Court seeking an order to stop the police from interfering with their anti-Government protest at Africa Unity Square.

Dzamara together with Linda Masarira, Tatenda Mombeyarara, Pride Mkono and Dirk Frey want the High Court to issue an order barring ZRP officers from interfering with their occupation of Africa Unity Square.

In the application filed on Thursday June 23, 2016 by their lawyers Kudzayi Kadzere and Marufu Mandevere, the five listed Police Commissioner-General Dr Augustine Chihuri, Officer Commanding ZRP in Harare Province Chief Superintendent Newbert Saunyama and Dr Ignatius Chombo, the Home Affairs Minister as respondents.
