ACTION continues this weekend in the Bulawayo Christian League (BCL) with Eagle Life Assembly taking on FOG Stars at Entumbane Ground on Saturday. Eagle Life Assembly will be determined to win this game following an impressive 3-3 draw against second placed St Columba’s Parish last weekend.Fungai Mundofa, BCL chief administrator, said the draw against St Columba’s was unexpected following Eagle Life’s poor performance during the season.
“The draw was a shock to us. Eagle Life hasn’t been performing well in the league but things seem to be changing,” said Mundofa.
Eagle Life team manager Blessing Muguti said they were prepared for the match and looking for a win.
“We’re determined to win this match,” said Muguti.
Eagle Life is ninth on the table with 15 points from 14 matches, which include four wins, three draws and seven losses. Mundofa said they had only two matches last week because August is generally filled with a lot of church activities.
