AN EAGLESVALE netball coach has lost her case in which she had approached the civil court seeking a protection order against her ex-husband.
Magistrate Rutendo Machingura dismissed Nomatter Changaita’s protection order application against her former husband, Zviziviso Mutamusi.
Nomatter accused Zviziviso of physical abuse and sending her some threatening messages.
Zviziviso accused her of taking his underwear and belt.
Nomatter said: “He is violent in nature, he has been harassing his ex- girlfriend.”
In response, Zviziviso said: “Yes, it’s true that I once assaulted her because she does not respect me.

“She had an abortion saying that she was not ready for a baby because of her job.
“I would give her US$100 every month but she did not appreciate it.
“She had someone, who she communicated with every day at night, saying she is doing her job.
“She once went to church and came back around 7pm, I asked her where she was but she made it an issue.
“I have never insulted her, she just wants to tarnish my name.
“I moved on, what I want from her are my clothes and the underwear.”
The protection order was dismissed due to lack of merit.
