CHAMPIONS FC Platinum’s final game of the season against Cranborne Bullets is scheduled to get underway early at Mandava on Saturday.
The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League said the match had been brought forward to 1pm to cater for the presentation of the league trophy, and medals to FC Platinum, soon after the match.
Norman Mapeza’s men secured their fourth consecutive PSL title to equal the record held by Dynamos and Highlanders.
They won the title with three games, leaving Chicken Inn and Dynamos, battling for second place.
The Gamecocks currently hold second place, three points ahead of Dynamos, and only have to draw their final game to emerge runners-up.
FC Platinum could also set a record-breaking 20-match unbeaten run in the league if they avoid defeat before their Zvishavane fans.
The match between ZPC Kariba and Herentals also has an early kick-off at Nyamhunga.
ZPC Kariba were on the verge of relegation until they forced a draw against Highlanders last Sunday, which virtually steered them to safety.
Only a miracle will save Bulawayo City.
They have to win by a 11-goal margin against Black Rhinos at Vengere, in the event that ZPC Kariba loses, to stay in the top-flight.
