Dube (36) appeared before magistrate Mr Tayengwa Chidanda who remanded the matter to August 1 for trial.

Prosecutor Mr Gift Zumbika alleges that on July 15 at the EasiPark office along Julius Nyerere Way, Dube called Gadzamoyo Dewa to his office to discuss the dismissal of an emplo-yee.
The pair allegedly failed to reach an agreement and Dube lost his temper.

He allegedly pushed Dewa out of his office.

Mr Zumbika alleged that Dube violently banged the door and hit Dewa’s right index finger, cutting it off in the process.
He was referred to hospital and the medical report will be produced in court as an exhibit.
