ECOWAS President accredits new republic of Ghana and France Ambassadors to ECOWAS

The President of the ECOWAS Commission, H.E Jean-Claude Kassi Brou has received the letters of credence of two new Ambassadors at a ceremony at the ECOWAS Headquarters in Abuja. The newly accredited envoys are H.E Alhaji Rashid Bawa, High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and H.E Emmanuelle Blatmann, the Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In his brief remark, the President appreciated the critical role played by both countries in the areas of peace and stability in the region. He assured them of ECOWAS willingness to continue to seek strong ties with their countries particularly Ghana who holds the present authority of the Head of States in the region.
