CASES of lustful married men wrecking other couples’ marriages continue to haunt us.
It’s a demon, which needs to exorcised.
The same demon has desecrated the once sacred marriage institution.
It has been tainted by sex-crazed men who are never satisfied with their partners.
They seem to have intensified their shenanigans, even though it usually end in tears.
Some have been butchered, humiliated and sued after being caught dating married women.
Others have been left crippled and even killed as a result of their conduct.
No matter how these lustful men are warned, they seem not to listen.
As the media, we have been carrying such cases hoping these people will repent.
To be frank, we seem to be losing the war in warning lustful men against dating married women.
This has come as a huge challenge to the media as we continue to denounce immorality.
By doing so, it is our hope that married men will be warned to stay away from married women.
What has made these cases peculiar is that some men will be fully aware that they are dating married women.
Whether it’s a sign of prestige or power, this behaviour is totally unacceptable.
In most cases, men who try these unions, are usually doing it for fun or to prove a point.
They tend to forget the pain they give the other part once the truth is revealed.
On July 10, we ran a story involving a South Africa-based married man who had a tendency of dating married women.
He would promise his targeted women a better life.
Whether the man was rich or not, only God knows.
The Zimbabwean man, who is now trending on social media, was given a thrashing and forced to roll in the mud.
His videos are now circulating on social media.
For trying to snatch away a married woman, the man who is married to his wife, has been left with a battered image.
His bruised ego will take ages to be restored.
Although meting instant justice was not the solution, the lustful man should have saved his image by controlling his feelings.
There are also married women who are targeting married men and we believe infidelity should never be allowed.
Couples should never enter the marriage institution unprepared.
This has fuelled infidelity, whose consequences, can be tragic.
Young men and women should take their time before entering the marriage institution which comes with its own challenges.
One of the demands of this institution is self-control, which has saved many from courting trouble.
After self-control, couples should learn to be faithful and value their partners. All this can be achieved out of trust, prayer and transparency.
Once we factor in all this, cases of infidelity involving married couple will surely become a thing of the past.
Marriage wreckers should be whipped into line in a civilised manner.
