A COURT in Harare was stunned into silence on Tuesday when a woman made sensational claims that she was forced to ABORT 15 TIMES and then suffered a miscarriage before she was dumped by her lover.
Sharon Zhuwawo claimed her lover’s wife, Valentine Mahlupeko, was the one who kept pushing him to force her to abort 15 times before he then dumped her and started flirting with seven other lovers.
The two women appeared at the Harare Civil court where their sensational row, which included threats of murder, which were repeated in open court, was heard by magistrate Sharon Mashavire.
The man at the centre of the row is Goodwill Ndarama.
Zhuwawo claimed Mahlupeko, who is Ndarama’s wife, was the one who brainwashed her lover to take her to have all those 15 abortions.
Zhuwawo even claimed that she was not Ndarama’s lover but was his wife and they have been married for six years.
In response, Mahlupeko said her nightmare began when her husband decided to dump Zhuwawo and start flirting with his other girlfriends.
She told the court that seven girlfriends were involved in the drama.
Mahlupeko claimed this angered Zhuwawo and triggered the sensational fallout which has now spilled in court.
She told the court that Zhuwawo now called her every night threatening to kill her after her husband left her for his seven girlfriends.
This is very sad and the two women know that this is wrong because they were simply exposing themselves in an open court and there will be no winner in this feud.
They need to know that this whole ordeal has battered their reputations and reduced their standing in society.

We have seen many of those domestic disputes come and go at the Harare Civil Court and every time we have seen the damage which these cases end up inflicting on both the accused and the accuser.
What was supposed to be a dispute between the two women ended up dragging the name of the man, who is at the heart of this dispute, into the mud.
The allegations in court portrayed him as a dishonest man, who has been cheating on his wife for a long time, and who even went and flirted with seven other girlfriends after dumping his lover.
That is not a picture of a good and responsible man.
His lover claimed that he forced her into having 15 abortions and that alone is very bad and unacceptable.
If he didn’t want to have kids then we believe he was old enough to know what should be done to ensure that children would not come out of his sexual encounters with his lover.
We are not health experts but we believe that 15 abortions is too much and could end up endangering the health of this woman.
Whichever way one looks at it, this was a very bad domestic dispute to bring into court.
