Education is gun, skill is bullet

EDUCATION is a gun, and skill is a bullet.

Together, they can kill a person, but with only a gun, you can only produce fear in people!

There is life at college, and there is life after college, but most students tend to forget that.

A time will come to say goodbye to the learning institution as you enter into the real world, which might not be friendly to you.

And the best yardstick for our progress is no other people, but ourselves and students must be taught how to think, not what to think.

Being at college at times makes students feel relaxed, and the comfort zone seems to interest many students, but what follows after the classroom walls makes you think the Heavens have forsaken you.

But such a cruel world needs students who have knowledge and skills.

The most important aspect for any student in this modern world is the skill.

Knowledge is always more important than just a degree.

This week, I am talking about how it is important for students to enter the real world with knowledge and skills.

Once again, many thanks for following our new baby, Campus Reflections Show, which is now in its third episode.

We continue to discuss issues that matter for students on and off campus.

If all students have skills with proper qualification with good self-confidence, they will definitely reach greater heights.

In everyday life, the development of life skills helps students to find new ways of thinking and problem-solving.

Skills are in direct correlation with improved academic achievement, so students should develop them both for the sake of their education and for the sake of their professional careers.

The modern business world places certain requirements before us that we need to meet if we want to achieve professional success, be noticed and competitive.

In today’s business environment, everything is extremely dynamic.

It also changes, transforms, and advances quickly.

This doesn’t mean that you will be expected to change your personality for the sake of success, to be something you are not, or that you are not good enough the way you are.

The quality of interaction of people who have developed soft skills has been proven to be much better, which is of great importance for the employer and thus, for the job you do together.

Skills are equally important for students as they are for employed people, because studies prepare students for the labour market in several ways.

Although it is important for students to learn a core set of knowledge, they are not being helped to develop these skills by simply requiring them to regurgitate facts in an attempt to earn grades for a course.

There is a need to have students apply what they are learning by engaging them in projects.

There is a need to engage them in higher-order thinking skills in order for them to develop the skills that will be critical to their future success.

This further helps them recognise the impact of their actions and teaches them to take responsibility for what they do rather than blame others.

Knowledge is important as these bring positive effects in the life of students who are looking forward to working somewhere.

In this 21st century, all these skills are essential to gain success not only for a healthy society but also for successful individuals.

Thus, it is important to evolve skill training among learners from an early age.

In a constantly changing environment, having knowledge is a basic part of being able to address the difficulties of regular day-to-day existence.

The dramatic changes in global economies over the course of recent years have been coordinated with the change in innovation.

All these are having a greater impact on education, the working environment and our home life.

To be able to cope with the increasing pace and change of present-day life, students need to learn life skills, including the capacity to manage pressure and disappointment.

The more we develop life skills individually, the more these benefit the world in which we live by recognising cultural awareness and citizenship.

This makes international cooperation easier with people of other societies and by respecting diversity to allow creativity and imagination to flourish in a more developed society.

While we re run different races, the purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise.

The future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in a creative.

Both qualification and skill balance the question, since if he or she has skill but without qualification, companies cannot hire him or her.

A person may be a good mechanic, but if he has no engineering qualification, then he cannot claim he is an engineer.

The ideal is a good combination of both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding, and I believe this is better.

The contemporary world has become cruel to graduates, as employment has become scarce, mostly in developing nations.

But while we cry for employment, someone is waking up every day to go for an interview and having the skill makes them survive.

Though not all professions require teamwork, having this skill allows you to show your employers that you can successfully work and collaborate in a group setting.

The importance of soft skills for students is enormous, both with regard to their studies and with regard to their future careers.

Life as a student is not as rosy as it seems.

All those late nights spent in the library or the many hours spent doing research can take a toll on a student.

We left home to change homes, fellow students.

Never disappoint them back home.

Until we meet for a toast at the show
