Eight people were last night burnt to death when a Kanyemba bound kombi was side-swiped by a lorry near Mutorashanga Turn Off.
Acting Mashonaland Central Development Coordinator, Mr Cosmas Chiringa confirmed the accident which happened around 7 pm.
He said the kombi which had nine passengers including the driver was coming from Concession when it side-swiped with a lorry resulting in it bursting into flames which killed the eight people.
Only the conductor survived the horror accident.
